My first melt down...

I had a TAH (everything) 3 weeks ago yesterday. I only recently started with any menopause type symptoms. But I went through something I hope I never do again. I was just discouraged about the whole situation and started crying, then laughing, then crying and so on for 20 minutes.
Luckily I was already sitting on the potty because I lost control of my functions. My poor hubby did not know what to do. I told him to give me a cold rag and close the door.

It took me about 20 minutes to stop and afterward I felt like I had been in a boxing match. I have never been real emotional in the past but that was the hardest thing to know how to handle. I am hoping it does not happen again.

Any advice?

I am sorry to hear about the emotional roller coaster. I know it's hard! All I can suggest is perhaps talk to your Dr. about hormonal medicines. Hang in there. It gets better!
