TAH sexual experiences?

I have read a lot of post about having sex after hyst and have noticed that most of the women who have posted with good replies have also kept their ovaries. Since this seems to make such a huge difference with hormones, I was curious to hear some stories of how sexual relations have been for people that have had a total hyst with ovary removal, since surgery. I feel like I am over stepping boundaries and I`m sorry for asking, but, I am vary worried as to how my sex life is going to be affected when I get the go ahead from the doc. I`ve always had good sexual relations, I sure hope not to lose it.

I am 3 weeks post op tomorrow. Total hysterectomy with ovaries removed. Although I am cleared for "take off" yet, my hubby and I had "outercourse" and let me just say Wow!

I meant to say I'm NOT cleared for intercourse. Lol

I still currently have the urgency to have sex, (would love to) just wonder if that will be lost once the stored hormones are gone. I hope not! Read a lot about loss of libido. (think thats right.) lol

i am taking hrt and supplements but can honestly say that it is all fine and dandy!!lol.

Hi ddup,

I had all removed almost 6 years ago and all is going well. I'm not taking HRT although I do sometimes use vagifem to help with vaginal dryness.
