Thank you for the reminder, I am almost at my 1 year aniv. And this site was wonderful in helping me through and knowing what to expect and what not to do. I would love to help other sisters in their travels down this path

I check the preop board every time I come on the post op board even though I just had surgery. I hope I can help others who are scared or have questions about the same surgery I just had.

Don't forget your pre-op sisters!
I try to look at the pre-ops every now and then and have been able to answer some of their questions. Right now there is a woman who is 55 and overweight and stressing about the procedure. If anyone can give her more reassurance, that would be a comfort to her, I'm sure.... I know I am sooooo thankful for my HysterSisters!!!

You betcha! I am 5 days post op & the pre-op section was sooo helpful for me - i'm going in everyday to see if I can give support or info to those in my same position!

Thank you for the gentle reminder. It has been awhile since I have been on. My sisters here were my lifeline as a prepared for my trip to the castle. There wasn't any question that I asked that someone did not respond to or point me in the right direction. I am coming up on my three year hysterversary in May. Hugs to all who have made the journey to the castle and to those who who are waiting to start that journey.
