Pain and Spotting After a Day of Sitting

Hello All:

I had my TAH SBO on December 3, 2007. I feel I have had a good recovery. I have done my best not to overdo anything. This last week I have been having a light blood colored discharge. Also if I recline and relax I feel not bad but at the end of the day it is painful in the area of my surgery. Is this normal? I am going to see my gyn this week. Could this be the stitches disolving and draining (yuck eh?)

i'm not sure what you mean...do you mean you sit all day and are sore and spotting from doing so? are you walking everyday, doing light housecleaning, etc? if youve added some activities, your muscles just might be sore. if you mean you are sore and spotting just from sitting, i'd bring that up to your dr.

It's a good idea to mention it to your dr. I had some discharge too, after my tah/bso. It turned out to be granulation ( wet scar tissue ) that was treated with silver nitrate. I was still sore some at that time in my recovery.
