TAH: Worst part about bowel prep...I'm starving!

I have survived day 1 of bowel prep, and yes, it's been pretty challenging, but not as horrible as I had worked it up to be in my mind. I have another day of this tomorrow before my surgery on Friday.

The worst part by far is that I'm soooo hungry!!!!!! Liquid diets have never done it for me. I'm a meat and potatoes kind of gal, and right now I would kill for a steak!

Wow, 2 day bowel prep. I never heard of that. Mine was 1 day . The day before that no eating after midnight. However, my surgery was delayed for 3 hours, so I was starting to get hungry.

How long from start to finish does the prep take?

I couldn't imagine 2 days of it! Good luck! !
