spotting after silver nitrate

I went for my 6 wk post op and the dr applied silver nitrate to my cuff. I have been spotting every since, its been 4 days. How long do you spot after this, i hope it doesn't last long. I had just stopped spotting for 3 wks before this. help.
Oh, and my dr said it is ok to have sex if I feel up to it. I don't think so. If I start spotting just from a exam, i might flood after sex.

I'm can't remember if I spotted after my sivler nitrate. I just remember him telling me that there could be gray discharge.I just wanted to re[ply and give your post a bump up so maybe someone else can reply. As far as sex, my doc told me to wait a week after the silver nitrate. To be honest we waited until week 8 for "outercourse" and week 10 for intercourse. Glad we waited. Give your doc a call!

I had silver nitrate on my vaginal cuff at about 3 weeks and it took a good week for me to stop spotting, so it did take time for me, but it did finally stop.

Everyone is different so check with your doctor if it continues. hugs

I received silver nitrate at almost 4months and spotted after for about 3 days.
