Re: magnesium citrarte.............

I drank it at 7. I looked on WebMD and it said that it took between 30 min to 3 hours to work. And its been 2.5 hours so far and i'm ready for bed.

Re: magnesium citrarte.............

mine kicked in after three and a half hours. I started at noontime the day before my surgery.

I'm afraid you will be up late this evening.... :/

Re: magnesium citrarte.............

I reckon I will be, lol. Especially since I need to be up at 3am. So I have time to do the enema and be at the hospital at 6am. Ah the joys of living in the boonies.

Thanks for the input ladies.

Re: magnesium citrarte.............

That drink is an insult on top of surgery. LOL. I gagged it down. Yuke. Good luck with your surgery.

Re: magnesium citrarte.............

I wasn't told to do any bowel prep, but I'm upping my stool softeners today to try and have a good "clean out" all the same! I have enough problems with BMs with out being bound up before I even start :S

Re: magnesium citrarte.............

I agree this stuff is/was nasty. i had the choice of three flavors. My daughter picked it out for me. She is 4. Told me when I got home that if I didn't like that flavor that I could get a different one next time. But I had to drink that one first, lol.
