Tomorrow is the Day!!

Thanks so much for all the well wishes. I am also excited and trying to stay that way. I am keeping very busy. I am afraid if I go on to bed that my mind will run away with me. I have to get up at 4:15am. I have laundry in the washer and dryer. Trying to pick things up around here. My husband is in bed now. He needs to rest. I told him that I would get plenty of rest tomorrow.

I am trying not to think negatively. I tucked my 8yo daughter in and wept a few tears while hugging her after prayer. Later, I tucked in my 12yo son. He is beginning to go through puberty and is very reluctant to hug or kiss. He hugged me well, and then said that he was worried. I was crying, but I don't think he could tell. I told him that God wasn't going to put any of us through anything that we could not stand, then we had a prayer. I don't want to break down. I want to be strong.

I have told them that I appreciate all the prayers for me, but to also pray that I can be a witness to someone. I really feel like that is suppose to be a mission for me.

Thanks again for being such wonderful people. I have only posted a few times, but have gotten a wealth of info from here. My doctor said that I may be home Friday or Saturday. I will post as a princess as soon as I can.

Tomorrow is the Day!!

I am also going to the castle tomorrow and worked all day to get things done around the house. I even put up my snowman collection. Made me feel better!
Good luck to you and see you in post-op!

Tomorrow is the Day!!

Aww, you will be just fine. Tomorrow makes a week for me with my hysterectomy and I was so nervous that I took 2mg of Xanax around midnight!! I had to be at the hospital at 5:30am so I know how you feel. On the way to the hospital (it's an hour drive) I had my portable CD player and listened to songs that relaxed me and kind of kept my mind off the surgery. I'm online right now if you'd like to chat. I have yahoo and AOL. Trust me, the unknown is scarey, but it's really a breeze. Nothing to worry about!
