Post op hysterectomy - pubic bone infection/hardening

Hello there. I've popped into see my GP because my back is hurting, 4 1/2 post op SAH. She checked my scar and prodded my tummy. She then pushed on the pubic bone, below the scar and said there was some hardening urgh! She wants me to have a scan so am trying to book one now. Of course I've looked on Dr Google, don't we all, and it seems to indicate an abscess! Anyone out there had this? I have felt fine since op and am up and about, walking the lot. Thank you XXXX

I do not have an answer for you and it is the first time I am seeing a question like this. I have been here for a while.
