for a good laugh (sorry)

I was talking with my sons about computer stuff (which is going to be apparent very soon that I know not much about ) and they were talking about LOL and I said yes lots of luck to which they all cracked up and told me meant laugh out loud. Which sent me into a tizzy because I told them I had been on this website and was pretty sure I had written to someone something about their surgery LOL. Which of course sent them all into howls again. So please forgive my computer illiteracy and know I meant lots of luck.

Hee hee, thats funny. I am sure someone would have let you know if you had offended. Either that or they chalked it up to frazzled nerves. But, that was a good story. It was difficult for me when I started here because of all the abbreviations...I didn't even know how to abbreviate my surgery and had to keep asking just to be sure. I changed the abbreviations like 3 times. Im sure we all seem a little looney!
