Final Post-Op Visit

Just came back from the Dr. Had my final post-op visit. All clear to resume my normal life. (whatever that is) I no longer have any restricitons. He asked how I was doing the sample HRT he gave me. I told him everything was good. He wrote me out a prescription for my HRT and said if I have trouble or when the time comes for refills see my family DR. He said I only need a pap ever five years since everything is gone. Good to know I guess. I hope I continue to sail along with no problems. I just haven't gotten use to no period yet, I still am waiting for the other shoe to fall..... I feel so good I am sure something must be wrong. Congrats, I hope the very best for you, I can't wait until I have my final post-op visit, it is scheduled on March 15th. If you don't mind can you tell me what to exspect at this visit. I had my first post-op on Feb 17 and all my doc did is look at the outside incisions and ask about meds. What is all involved with the final visit? I hope I don't sound to nosie!!

The final exam was no big deal. I was expecting much worse. He looked at my incision and pushed around it lightly. Then he had a peek and a feel inside. He was done before I even had time to brace myself for any pain. Which there wasn't. Asked a few questions and I was on my merry way home to do laundry. I hope you are as lucky with yours and I was with mine.

Thank you for your input and information. Right now my outside incisions are almost healed. Today I have been feeling some tugging and pulling on the inside so been resting alot today. I can't wait for the insides to heal. Thank you again.

My final post op visit is March 8th and I hope I get the results you did GRAND ! Congrats on healing well!! YAY !!! Good to know what to expect as well, thank you!

Congrats on the green-light to resume your "normal" life! Here's hoping the rest of your recovery goes just as smoothly as it has to this point!!!! Way to go!!!!
