Bleeding lightly

Hey, sisters, did your fibrods bleed lightly and you had spotting in your undies and on the paper? The last time this happened it was Sept 4th, the day before my exam and I went through the whole month without any discharge or bleeding. I also feel a little crampy like I getting my period. Is anyone going through this now or did before their surgery?

Re: Bleeding lightly

If there has been a change, you may want to call your doctor about this.

Re: Bleeding lightly

I'm having exactly the opposite.. January through August many days a month that clear pink tinged spotting... had the sonohysterogram and then cervical biopsy as my cervix is scarred and can't do an endometrial biopsy and now zero spotting but constant cramping..and back ache.... need to meet with the surgeon to see what is up.

Re: Bleeding lightly

This may be to much information but I was having maybe a week break between bleeding for 3 months then I went a whole month without anything BUT Oh my goodness did I have a WHOLE month of symptoms-bloating, bad back aches and cramping so bad with tons of pressure in my pelvic area. I would describe it as if there was a blockage that wouldn't allow for flow.. for lack of better words as if my cervix was corked.

Re: Bleeding lightly

I have this issue. I went 3 months with no yes NO period, had all signs but nothing thought I was pragnant but nope, then had a period light for three days. then once again 2 months no period and once came 28 days of period. then 3 months now I have had period 7 days. I have major pain with these periods and off months. Pain so bad I want to cry. as far as I know only one big fibriod mass on out side of uterus.

Re: Bleeding lightly

I had an endometrial biopsy on 9/27. My period stopped four days later but now I have mild cramping like my period should be starting. But, alas, no period. My ob/gyn didn't know what to think. But, the biopsy was really hard on me. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the cramping is because of it.

Re: Bleeding lightly

My fibroid is relatively small, around 4cm, and I seem to be having intermittent sypmtoms from it. Some cramping kind of pains sometimes, a burning/warm feeling sometimes, and little bits of bleeding and spotting here and there. It's a pain in the butt, but not really a worry for me, cos it's coming out on Friday.

Re: Bleeding lightly

According to my doc, my little monster is 10cm and I don't know when I can get rid off it. The bleeding and discard has stop. Here's a question for everyone, can pushing a heavy book cart or lifting book bags put a strain on my uterus causing my little monster to bleed?

Good luck friday Kay!

Re: Bleeding lightly

Thanks Dusty

I'm not sure about your fibroid, but mine is pedunculated (growing on the outside of my uterus on a little stalk) and can twist on itself, cutting off it's blood supply and causing all sorts of dire problems. I don't know about pushing book carts or anything, but I guess it's possible it could cause problems. Do you work in a library? I worked around 8 years in libraries when I was younger, so I know how heavy and awkward the carts can be. Might be a good idea to just try and take it a bit easy, and if anything feels like it's putting strain on you anywhere, try and get some help with it.
