4 Days to go!!!!!

Patty,
I am right there with you! (Surgery Wednesday) I have found myself worrying about the silliest little details today! Things like my daughter will forget to pick me up and take me to the hospital the morning of my surgery. Geez! What a basket case! One thing for sure though is that our homes will be clean for after surgery! I've even laid down on my bed and looked around to see if there was anything else that needed cleaning or moving so I won't have something driving me crazy (ier) while I'm lying there.

Hang in there and know that we will be thinking about you and the others on the 12th.

Teas

Decaf camamile tea is soothing and a nice ritual to get in too for relaxing. With maybe some chocolate cookies. I know that might now help much but just doing it and making it gives you something too do and of course writing down everything you are feeling and going through helps me. You may write me as often as you like. Love to talk. Betsy

me too!

I am right there with you!. I am scheduled at noon on the 12th. This is My second surgery in 3 1/2 months. I sometimes feel a little more freaked out about this one, ONLY because I still remember how uncomfortable I was in recovery. However, I am also a little more relieved because I kind of know what to expect! I am looking forward to waking up in recovery (pain and all), and having that sense of relief that the worst is over and I survived! I have the worst case of the jitters today. I guess it's all normal. Good luck to you, I'll be praying for us all. Stay in touch!

4 Days to go!!!!!

I too am scheduled for surgery on 09-12-02. I am not sleeping and cannot sit still either. I am having a hard time dealing with all of the anxiety.

I think that part of it is that I have been bleeding and hurting for so long that I am ready for it all to end. I am sure that my DH cannot wait for the end either. I just know that when it is all said and done that I will feel better than I have in years.

All of the soon to be princesses going to the castle on 09-11-02;09-12-02; and 09-13-02 will be in my thoughts and my prayers.
