3 weeks post hysterectomy

Hi,i'm 31/2 weeks post laparoscopic hysterectomy which due to complications changed to a long hip to hip incision.i'm just wondering if anyone elses stomach feels like their carrying a bowling ball inside,it's really uncomfortable especially when climbing stairs,apart from this i'm doing really well,warm wishes to you all Shelagh🌺

It is quite uncomfortable the first 6 weeks but it will get better....
Remember you just had major surgery so make sure to rest.
Ask your doctor about taking anti-inflammatories since those can help take down the swelling a bit and make things a wee bit more comfortable.
Take it easy

I'm 4 weeks post op on Monday , I had a LAVH and am so sore low down , but I do wish you all the best Hun , make sure you rest up as much as you can x

Thank you both for your replies,i think i'm expecting too much too soon,at my check up last week my doctor told me to go home and watch a hysterectomy video because then i might realise why things are uncomfortable and to let me see why your not supposed to do some things,i will go back to the ibruprofen as now you've mentioned it,it is worse now i haven't taken any for a while ,many thanks Shelagh🌸
