Not bleeding at all - normal?

I bled pretty heavily the first day or two, while I was still in the hospital. Starting at about 5 weeks through about 9 weeks, I got just the tiniest bit of spotting (I'd have several perfectly round dots on my undies). Happened maybe once a week.

I finally gave all my pads etc away.

Not bleeding at all - normal?

hi all,

while i was in the hospital i had a little spotting and when i returned home there was not a drop. Then right before my 2 wk check up I had a brown discharge(like at the end of your period) I ask my dr about that and he said that that is the healing process it show that the incision and stitches are desolving and releasing that trap blood. But since that visit to his office nothing eles came down. Hopefully it over....

My sister had a hyst months prior to mine and she did not bleed at all.

but if you have concerns alway check with your doctor

No bleeding for me either. I hope that is good. Probably the only good thing so far from the hysterectomy, I mean with the insomnia, hrt problems etc

I had no bleeding either when I was in the hospital, even though I was prepared, cause Aunt Flo was due to show up.
Since then though, I would have a day for the first two months where I would spot and that was it, "stained panties" are the best for those. From my experience though, if I stay busy and active right around that time, I don't have anything at all, and am absolutely loving life with no tampon aisle.

I didn't start bleeding/spotting until 9 days post op. Just when I thought I was one of the lucky ones there it was. How is your recovery going? I had a radical hyst. also with the pelvic lymphadenectomy also. I know they take out a lot more tissue than a normal hyst. I pray that your recovery goes well and no further treatment is needed for you.

Not bleeding at all - normal?

I have had no bleeding at all (knock on wood!) but I am still afraid to throw out the maintenance crew. I do love going hah haha at the feminine hygiene product ads in magazines and on tv though. Yes!! I had my period when I went in for surgery and have had nothing since, this is the longest I have gone without bleeding in over a year. Life is good.

I didn't have hardly any bleeding either. Just a slight pink discharge and then a little light brown discharge. I did pass a couple of the sutures at 5 and 8 weeks out. I just gave the rest of my pads to my sister.

Take Care!

HI there,

I had my TAH on September 14, but didn't have any bleeding after the surgery. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is a good sign, that I'm healing well. Good luck in your recovery!
