bleeding post rectocele repair

8.2weeks post SAH and posterior repair for rectocele. How long is the recovery time for posterior repair. .had a bowel motion just now did not strain and not constipated, no pain or discomfort but found bright red blood wiping with tissue paper from the back also two -three tiniest clots..and blood tinged toilet bowl. .
What to expect. .?? Why bleeding now. .do not have hoemerroids either..first time experiencing bleeding from the back. .just was sooo happy that was feeling normal since yesterday. .very disappointing:-(

I'd call your doc. When in doubt, give him/her a ring! That would definitely concern me. Keep us posted!

Hi. I am in a similar boat... Have you spoken to a doctor again? Hopefully you stopped bleeding. Please let us know.

Are you taking stool softeners? I still am after a month and it helps. No bleeding here but my bottom is still sore and sometimes feels swollen. Anyone else?
