TLH Day 2 Gas Pain!!!!!

I'm still in the castle bc of high white blood cells. But the pain of the gas in my shoulders has been almost unbearable. I know it's normal but how long will this last?

I think for a few more days - I am still dealing w slight pressure - my surgery was last thurs - it gets better each day - try gas x or something w simethicone in it - def helps!

For me, it was not just in one shoulder, but the opposite elbow and an eye socket. It was horrible. Keep your water intake up, and the pain relievers your doctor is allowing you to have. I also used a heating pad to get some relief...but it only lasted a few days. Best wishes as you recover.

My surgery was Monday and I have one shoulder pain and gas after I eat. I'm eating bland, non gassy food too. Gas x does help a little, walking helps more for me. Good luck.

Thanks ladies! Pretzelogic! I can't imagine it in my eye! Ok it's gotten much better and I'm on my way home now. I think walking helped a lot but it was really brutal. I'm feeling better than I thought I would and I'm looking forward to being on the other side of this.
