How long does a person bleed after a TAH

I had no bleeding at all.

I had slight bleeding the first time I peed in the hospital. and then no blood at all since then. Not even after resuming relations with my hubby.

I had bleeding for about 3 days, then spotting for about 2 1/2 weeks after TAH/BSO.

After my TAH (mass they found along w/ cancer was 11cm), I had no bleeding except for a few tiny tiny clots when I was finally able to empty my bladder on my own, otherwise, no bleeding at all. Best wishes. <><

You are not silly, you are intelligent to wonder and ask questions! I did not bleed at all afterwards. Two days before my surgery I had just completed an awful 12 day period, so perhaps I was all bled out. The day I returned from the hospital, I noticed just a little pink, and that was it. Best wishes on your surgery. The overwhelming odds are that all will go well.

I'm also scheduled on the 31 for TAH. I'm not nervous but am having the jitters, already been thru having 2nd thoughts 2 weeks ago, and my girlfriends are great support. I'm all set to go, sisters, wishing all of you scheduled within the next few days the absolute best!

I had one little drop of blood after my TAH, nothing after that.

Me too, no bleeding at all!!! The absolute best part of the whole thing! I'm determined not to have any spotting either from overdoing it. I have been told by my doc that I may have a little discharge when my stitches disolve but not much. I'm 10 days post op and feeling better each day!
