dVH/RALH: surgery cancel twice

Would you believe my surgery which was set for May 31st after being prep in the pre-op area for 6 hours the doctor comes out to say it has to be cancel due to the woman who was ahead of me having problems with her surgery and would be in for another 3 to 4 hours. So they ask me to come back today Jone 1st at 10 am They have a young lady in the OR but would be done with her soon and yes by 1 o'clock they were but by the time they got everything ready for me 2 emergency came in and they had to be seen first so my surgery was cancel again. Boy I wonder if this is ever going to happen or is it a sign not to get the da Vinci and just get the bikini instead. SO UPSET

Whether it's an omen or just a bad coincidence, you have every reason to be upset. Have you been rescheduled yet?

I wish I could say something really comforting but I truly feel your disappointment. Talk about an emotional roller coaster.

Thanks Marciamae I just hope it will be done by this coming week our son is in the Navy and planning on coming home by the 15th of June so I done want to be layed up in bed.

When was it rescheduled for this time? That sucks. Are you in a small hospital? Where are all the surgeons to handle these surprises? You what they say: third times a charm! Must have been a reason :0)

Fingers crossed you can a date for early this week. You must be so excited awaiting the arrival of your son - he will be thrilled to see you even if you are still a recovering princess in pajamas!

we have to wait til my doctor calls on Monday with a date

I'm so sorry. That is what I'm worried about. Ask if you can get the first slot in the morning time so you will be the first. I would be so upset.
