Re: emotional...crying at the drop of a hat!!

Hi (((lavh25))) I'm sorry you are feeling so emotional right now. Which brand of patch are you using? How often do you change it? Is it sticking well?

It sounds like you're not getting quite enough estrogen for your needs, although it's a little hard to say that so soon after your surgery because just having the surgery can cause hormonal upheaval and it does take a while for things to level out on HRT.

I would let your DR know, though, and if it doesn't improve soon, see about perhaps increasing your dose if that's possible - I see you had endo, and many DRs are reluctant to give women with an endo history very much estrogen, at least for a while after surgery. Do work closely with your DR, though -- he/she needs to know how poorly you're feeling.

I hope you're feeling better soon.

s,
-Linda

Re: emotional...crying at the drop of a hat!!

Give yourself a break my dear. Your body has been insulted, your hormones switched from home made to artificial, and you have a family to take care of. Plus it's going to take some time to feel normal again. I usually don't tell things on myself, but if it will make you feel better---lol
My 4th day after surgery, I was watching a show called Ace of Cakes, where they build these huge elaborate cakes. Well, they were moving a cake, and it fell. I cried for an hour. I also teared up when I was telling my daughter about it. =) Then, three days ago, I went to the grocery store by myself. I kept finding myself furious at the other people in the aisle. How DARE they get in my aisle and in my way! lol! So, you're not alone, and from what I can understand from the other Sisters on here, it does get better. Hugs
