Muscle Cramps

I'm 1 week post-op and have begun to be woken up through the night with severe cramps in my calves. Is this something that happens. (I kept my ovaries).

I didn't have any cramps like that after my lavh/bso. I did however have them another time when I was dieting. I swear it felt like charlie horses in my calves. I called my and she said to eat some bananas. It had something to do with a lack of potassium. Sure enough, it helped.

I would give you a call though. Just to be on the safe side.

Make sure to drink orange juice with the bananas, My husband gets these cramps to. Doc said the orange juice helps your body absorb the potasium from the banana's.

If they don't quit call your Doc.
