gassy foods?

Hi

I'm planning on making a lot of meals for myself and freezing them ahead of time. I just realized that especially some of my favorite soups can be really gassy.

I know beans are gassy...and apparently mushrooms (G) but has anyone found a list of gassy foods anwhere?
I've been searching but haven't been able to come up with one yet.

I want to try to revamp my favorite recipes to high fiber with less gas.

There must be a list somewhere in cyberspace!

Can't locate a list but we could start one. Mushrooms??? Everyone would have a personal list and mushrooms will be on yours erasmuse.

gee...maybe it isn't the mushrooms. Maybe I should take the leeks out of the soup first and try that.

It seems some really potent soups would be a great way to build up my strength again.

Thanks so much. You've been a great help. I kept searching and was coming up with nothing. I go in one month from today so this gives me some time to play with the recipes first.

...and to study the hormone question. I had decided to just use herbs and vitamins but after reading a lot here am now becoming very interesting in NHRT. I need to read a lot more though and then start posting over in the hormone jungle to decide.

What would we all do without this place?!

I'd never thought to check the "Beano" website.

They have a whole list of gas-producing foods there!
