Hi westerfield and welcome!! Nope you are not being a baby. You are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing. Resting, so that your body can heal. Make sure that you are drinking plenty of water and that you are walking. Not marathons, just a little at a time. Listen to your body. It generally tells you when you're doing too much. One of the hardest thing for most of us to do is to just do nothing. But that's basically what we have to do and not feel guilty about it.
If you look at the top of the page and click on hysterectomy checkpoints, you'll find your recovery broken down into weeks, giving you an idea of where you are at each stage of your recovery.
This surgery took a lot out of you. You'll get your energy back. Day by day, a little at a time, things will get a little better. Think of yourself as the turtle in a race. Slow and steady wins the race Hang in there.
