2 days until my surgery

My surgery is scheduled for early Thursday morning, and I am some what anxious to have it over with. There is some fear involved, and I am not looking forward to the pain at all, but I know the surgery is necessary. I have cancer of the uterus, and I have a bicornuate uterus.
I have finished with all the necessary preparations, cleaned the house, and stocked up on groceries for my family. All that is left to do now is wait, spend time with loved ones, and talk to God. I am trying to remain positive and look forward to a cancer-free future.
Please, say a prayer for me if you can. I do appreciate this site so much. It has helped prepare me for the surgery and I have been blessed the wisdom and advice I have obtained since I joined.

Hi Lyn, I know the feeling about getting it over with. You will have it over with and a week goes by quick. I had mine 6 days ago and you will be so relieved even right after surgery knowing it's done. I will pray for you to have a cancer free future. God bless you.

Dear Lyn: I wish you the best for your surgery and recovery. I had a TVH on 7/20 and the pain is really not that bad at all. I found the pain from post op constipation to be the worst of it (the pain meds compound the problem) so make sure you prepare for that. I wish you a cancer free future :-)

I have 2 weeks till mine. Time is dragging so bad and I just want it over. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
