Post op -BV

I had my operation on 10th June and was very slow healing, due to soreness. The Doctor gave me several lots of antibiotics for infections. Then the doctor advised me to use some caneston, so I thought I was suffering with Thrush, but the doctor informs me it is BV, but wont treat it until I have repeat swabs done and I have been waiting several weeks to get an appointment... I dont have swabs done until the 5th September, then I have to wait for results. The itching, soreness and smell drives me crazy. I am keeping things clean with aqueous cream as advised by the doctor. Anyone recommend anything else?

Re: Post op -BV

Take some probiotics, especially ones for vaginal health. They should help. You could even open one up and just put it on the outside down there, it helps with the itching and soreness.

Good luck and hope you get better soon!
