TAH stitches in or out

Im 3 weeks post op form TAH bladder sling and retal repair. Feeling great. Slight pain everyonce and a while. Wlaking good and everything seems to be healing on the out side. Last night I was in the shower and noticed I have a stitch about 2 inches long coming out of my vigina. I wasnt sure thats what it was so i got out went to my husband (red faced) and asked if he could look. It was a very strange moment. He said of course and looked and sure enough its a stitch. He says its coming out of my vigina and that it almost looks like a tampon string. I called the dr and he says it should disolve before my follow up next week. Im now panicing that what if it dont and he has to go in and remove them. Anyone else every have this happen?

OMG!!!

That would have scared me as well. We had our surgery a day apart and had the same kind of hysterectomy. I'm nervous with you now and I hope it comes out before you go back to the doctor! If it doesn't...please let me know how the dr removed it!!!

Now I want to get a mirror..... I haven't even paid attention.

Iv had the mirror out what seems like a thousand times. Im so worried about how things are going to turn out. I know this is a TMI thing but Im on a vaginal HRT and Its hard to even get the applicator inside to put the medicine in. I tod y husband Im very worried about how sex will ever be normal again. I watched to many videos on how the surgery was done before so now Im worreid aout all the 1 and a million complications.
