sex the night before hysterectomy? also concerned about position on table during surgery

It's going to be a long healing period so is it okay to have sex the night before?
I'm also a little worried about the position in the operating table. I have chondromylasia in my knee. Basically very painful cartlidge swelling under the knee cap. I'm afraid it will aggravate it even more. I'm going to have the lavh

I felt the same way. So my husband and I ended up having sex the night before, but he made sure to pull out the last minute. Dr didn't have that restriction on the pre-op prep sheet, and didn't ask before surgery, just the routine questions "when did I drink last? What did I eat last?". I'm 10 days post-op and recovering fine.
