TAH bleeding 1 week post hysterectomy

Hi, i had surgery a week ago and initial blood loss was minimal, only a day or so of slight loss. However now i am getting pain when my bladder fills and also orange to light red loss, not sure if its coming from urethra maybe uti from catheter, or vault wound as swelling goes down .....is this common or something i should check up on?

I'm having the same issue. Was tested for uti and it was negative dr said maybe irritation or scratch (from catheter I'm guessing?). Did this problem resolve for you?

I initially had quite a bit of bleeding, then it slowed down. for a week.
Picked up again and had a bad odor. My doctor told me it was dissolving stitches and the odor was normal.
I had so much bladder pressure all the time and it was painful. Got tested for UTI twice and was negative. The pressure has let up some...I increased my fluids and drank a lot of cranberry juice. Ended up in the ER and needed IV fluids.
Keep up the drinking--can't stress that enough!
The bleeding has slowed down to where I'm just using panty liners now.
