joint pain

Hi, today is 4 weeks since my total hyst.I see her( DR ) today but, I wanted to ask you ladies..My dr put me on HRT.a small patch , I wear it on my hip......the question is.have any of you ever heard of joint pain from the patch?It's really weird,.my shoulders and hips..the side I put the patch on.Do you think there is any connection?

i had a T.A.H oct 2004 and have found that my joints ache all the time and that i feel tired an awful lot, just seem to have aged over night

I had my total hysterecotomy on July 22nd and I too have noticed joint pain. I have an auto immune disease that causes joint problems but prior to surgery my joints were doing very well. Not sure if my pain is related to hrt or not but thinking maybe so..... my hips, back, knees, and ankles all hurting and stiff. Neck and shoulders too. I went to chiropractor and had an adjustment and massage, really helped!! I have been researching this and have found out that hrt can cause joint pain. I am on vivelle dot .1mg and love it so hoping to not have to discontinue!! desal

I am on the same HRT.I saw my dr today,she said there is no history of it that she knows of.
I don't know,hubby seems to think I am sleeping funny.I am not sleeping hardly at all so he is nuts!LOL
Aside from my shoulders hurting like heck, the HRT seems to be working great....small,I almost forget about it and no hot flashes or night sweats at all.
