Re: already emotional (children mentioned)
Chelle, I wanted another child as well and my husband underwent a vas-reversal immediately after my remaining ovary began functioning again (after Dec '08 surgery)...I have had many breakdowns feeling overwhelmed and lost. I prayed that if God wanted my husband and I to have children together, He would make it happen, but it didn't...the reversal failed and so did my remaining ovary. I was devastated. When I prayed about it and gave it to God, I felt peace. It is in His hands. I will continue to love the two children I was blessed with (a former marriage) and do my best to listen to God. I know He has a purpose for me. And I know He has a purpose for you.
Dear Lord, I thank You for Chelle, and thank You for working in her life. Lord, right now I pray You touch her and Lord, wrap her in Your arms and give her the peace and comfort only You can. Please guide her heart and soul to trust in You to know that You are at her side, protecting her, comforting her and loving her even through the darkest valley. I pray this in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen
Many (((hugs))) and blessings

Re: already emotional (children mentioned)
Chelle I also wanted another baby. I have 2 boys, 15 and 11, and have wanted one for the past 10 yrs. We also put it in God's hands. About 3 yrs ago I had another miscarriage and I have come to the conclusion that it wasn't meant to be.
I come from a family of 10 (9 girls and 1 boy) so it is what I looked forward to. My husband is the youngest of 2, but his bro is 17 yrs older and his sis is 11 yrs older, so for him it was like he was an only child.
It made me feel bad for a couple of years that he didn't want to try "on purpose" to have another one, but we did when you think about it.
I am only 37 yrs old and I just had my TVH on 10-28-10 and I have to say that I am feeling okay about my decision.
A month ago I also was crying and freaking out, even was at a resteraunt and saw an older lady with a newborn and commented on it. My husband looked at me and he wasn't happy. He told me that I should realize that I am blessed with 2 boys already. I know that, and yet I thought about it more and the older woman comment didn't make me feel that bad. I thought it would after, but it didn't. That's when I realized that I was okay with my decision.
My point is, it will go away. You will stop crying at commercials and other little babies. Trust me! I know that you don't know me, but with a huge family like mine (part italian too) I see that it is okay now.
I worried a lot and now I know that it wasn't worth it. OMGOSH is right, praying gives you the peace that you need. I have done a lot of it and it worked.
If you still feel like you have the urge to nurture another child, look into adopting or fostering. There is children out there who don't have a place to go. We are thinking about it, we just aren't financially ready yet. It's just a thought. GOD bless you and your family!!!
