surgery cancelled

So sorry your insurance company is giving you a hard time... as for the D & C; had 6 of them over the past 4 years and it is a very nice nap, nothing to worry over and I don't know about you but my periods are about 20x worse than that ever was. Back up and running the next day. Office biopsy...what the h*** that is just not something I want to ever go through again. I know what you mean, I was like a cat on the ceiling and bawling my eyes out. Thank the lord that will be over in 2 weeks! Good luck to you, I hope everything works out

You're going thru one of my biggest fears. I know we aren't supposed to dicuss ins. names but my ins. Uuhhh, is governmental.

Has anyone had problems with govt. ins.? I know at one time you had to have a second opinion.

Boy can I relate!

My surgery for this morning was cancelled yesterday afternoon for stupid stuff (ins. co wants my thyroid tested?!?!?). I am very much for feeling your pain.

Uh, yes, good ol military insurance cancelled my surgery!

I was scheduled for surgery this morn and they cancelled it yesterday afternoon. I don't need a second opinion (yet!) but they want unrelated to my issues test run (ie, a thyroid test). My frustration (as well as my off base doc and my on base doctor--my primary care physican) is at extreme levels.

Mine is Medicare. I have been on disabilty for injuries sustained in an auto accident (or 3). Injuries and the surgery have nothing to do with each other. Sure is funny that Medicare didn't want to pay for me to see my podietrist or gyn 'cuz I have another ins., THAT ONE is primary!!! LOL What they are calling "primary" is my auto ins. I spent over 6 monthes clearing it up.

I know I have one thing in my favor. Medicare Part D is covering my Lupron and since I'm low income, I qualify for the $5.00 copay instead of the 25% copay because it is a specialty med. I wonder what kind of pain pills they'll cover for home use.

Scary how the govt. can run your life.
