2nd opinion dr. who does daVinci!

I just met with a doctor for a second opinion about having to get a hyster. He confirms it for me which is not a shock. He is the Chief of Surgery and he not only performs daVinci, he teachers it to others. He took so much time answering all my questions as well as my husbands. He examined me and said I was a definite candidate for daVini. The only drawback is that he does not have a date until January. Believe me I am one to put things off because of my fear (I have been dealing with this for over 10 years) But I am now so ready to be on the other side of this and out of pain, bleeding..etc..that I just want this over with NOW!!!
I have an appointment on Tuesday with my original doctor..then I will make my final decision...But it really is amazing that I am almost, dare I say, excited....is it really a possibility that I can have my life back? No more pain? Bleeding? Is this the answer to my prayers? Have I finally found enough courage ? Have I found a doctor that I trust ?!

It sounds like you are on the right track and your post sounds like you are more confident and positive : ) I think the answers to your six questions is YES YES YES YES YES YES : )

I hear you loud and clear on wanting it to be over.
My issue started back up again in June of this year and my dvh was 10/5.

It's a wonderful feeling when you find a surgeon that takes the time to answer all your questions and brings you comfort!
