6 week check up!! :)

I want to thank HysterSisters for creating this site!! It has helped me tremendously.
Well I was extremely nervous about my 6 wk. check up especially after a TVH. When you find out there is 200 or so stitches up there it makes you a little leary about things. LOL, Anyway it was fine no pain and no spotting afterward. My Dr. said everything was healed and there didn't appear to be any shortening of my vagina. I am not on any type of hrts at this time simply because I'm not having any symptoms other than some mild hot flashes and at night I have been waking up several times so my Dr. recommended a natural vitamin that would help with the sleeping. So I'm going to try it to see if it helps. I did however ask for the estrogen cream for vaginal dryness. Trying to keep my first time at having intercourse as pleasant as possible. I have read some not so good reports on this so I'm trying to get myself prepared.
Don't know what else to say I feel great and can't wait to get back to normal. My Dr. did tell me to take all things slow and not just jump back into all my normal routines head on. She said, "remember you have had major surgery no matter how good you feel." I do have to remind myself of that often.
A big THANK YOU to all those that have replied to any of my posts. I thank you for your input and encouraging words...

Re: 6 week check up!! :)

Glad you went so well with your check up. You will have to let us know how the natural vitamins go, l presume they would take a while to kick in like most of that natural stuff does. Take it easy

Best of luck
