I'm nervous too. I have four young ones at home. That's all I can think about.

Re: Anyone else have jitters about surgery?

The 20th is coming fast for me. I had a reschedule happen or I would be going in on the 13th. I have pre admission testing tomorrow. I am crazy in the head about, that! I wish they would have left my date the same, because now I have even longer to think and worry! I just hope it happens on the 20th and isn't push up again. My palms get sweaty and my heart starts to race at the thought of going in. I have an anxiety disorder though so with that being said. It's my normal ol self spazzing out. Good luck on your day ladies, and happy healing! xoxo

Re: Anyone else have jitters about surgery?

Yes! I am fine then not so much. I cried by myself so I don't worry anybody. I posted here today asking about complications. Then I read a few replies and talked myself down. Then I talked to my hubs about it all through dinner. I am totally strong and rational one minute, then planning my funeral the next. I want the surgery so it I can have a shot a feeling good again, then other times I think I may not be able to take a next breath or think about anything else. I will be glad when it is over. Best of luck to all of you. Sometimes I think the wait is the hardest part.

Re: Anyone else have jitters about surgery?

Yes!! I am having mine on the 14th and one minute I am fine and the next minute I am next to having a panic attack over it. The closer it gets the worse the panic moments get. I will be so glad when I am on the other side of this. I want to hurry up and get it over with but on the other hand I feel like running away :P

Re: Anyone else have jitters about surgery?

I try not to think about it because it is a month and 10 days away but then it just creeps into my head. Thank you for the stories and the sharing. It is so comforting to know others feels the same way I do! 🌷
