A little extra belly?

Hi to all the sisters, you are all so inspiring. Can I ask for some more input about how long for the " budda belly" to disappear, or if there are any special exercises one can do after the Dr. gives the o.k. I love the "positive stories" section. You all rock! thanks , foxyj

A little extra belly?

my dr. told me to take aspirin to reduce inflammation and swelling. It has been working well for me. (I'd ask your dr. first though about it. that is just what he told me) I still have a little bit of that "budda belly,"but it is much better than before. I'm looking forward to being able to get back into exercising full force.

A little extra belly?

How long did your doctor say you must wait before you can do sit-ups? Our vacation is in April, in the Bahamas, and I need to be able to wear a swim suit without freaking out at the size of my abdomen. Please help.

A little extra belly?

My dr. told me as I could tolerate it. He warned me though that if it started to hurt, to stop and try again in a few days. He also said that if I overdid it would cause ALOT of pain, so to ease slowly back into things. I had TVH, I don't know if it is different for other kinds though.

Enjoy the bahamas!!

A little extra belly?

I am 10 weeks post-op, back to work, and today I did about 15 sit-ups this morning. The rest of the day I've been experiencing spasms. Tender-sore, but nothing horrible. It also hurts sometimes going down stairs, especially if I'm wearing high heels.

But funny though, yesterday I ran through half of an airport and it didn't hurt at all. I should probably rest now. Thanks for the response.
