TLH 2 week checkup, blood in urine.

Everything else looked good except my urine sample. It's being sent off for culture, but office test strip showed blood. Dr started me on 3 day Cipro, hoping it's just a UTI. Anyone else? I've been so careful cleaning myself. I don't tend to get UTI's.

I had the same at my two week, and I don't get them often either. I think it was from the catheter in the hospital. I've been fine since finishing antibiotics and I'm at 12 weeks or so.

I am day 10 and i was diagnosed yesterday with a uti and today with an infection in my posterior repair incision and i have been meticulous about cleaning myself because of that incision and its risk of getting infected. I got put on keflex 4 times a day X ten days.

Thank you for the replies girls!! I have three pills left in my Cipro, so hopefully my infection will be gone soon. It looks like a UTI comes along quite often with catheterization in surgery.
