SOOOOOO Tired!

So so so so so so tired. So tired. So tired. So. Tired. Sooooooo tiiiiiiiiiired.

I think I should post every single day, about 5:00 p.m. The same thing. Because every day it hits me, yep, like a truck in the face. No matter how good I felt earlier. A big truck of tired.

So my daily post. But I am usually too tired to do it.

Re: SOOOOOO Tired!

I understand. I have a burst of energy mid-morning until about 1:00 p.m., then I need to nap. I just hit a wall.

Re: SOOOOOO Tired!

6 weeks post op TAH still so tired and very easily fatigued. I have noticed small improvements over time so i know it does get better. Just a slow process after a major surgery i guess :/

Re: SOOOOOO Tired!

OMG! I didn't nap at all yesterday except dozing off for maybe 10 minutes on the sofa. I went to bed and was asleep by 10:00. I woke up a couple of times to go to the bathroom and medicate myself. I ended up sleeping until 11:00 today. WTH????? Maybe it was my body telling me I should have taken some naps during the day. I didn't do anything except lay or sit on the sofa all day and get up and do laps around the house and go the bathroom. I am dreading the gas pains to start creeping up today or tomorrow from my laparoscopic surgery. I had one a month ago and it was the most horrific pain and I am so not looking forward to this happening again.

Re: SOOOOOO Tired!

I had mine on the 11th too and same thing - I'm good until about 2pm and it's downhill from there. I get really achy in the abdomen as the afternoon goes on too, whether I'm up or down.

Re: SOOOOOO Tired!

I've never been a bundle of energy anyway, but it does seem like I hit a wall every once in a while. DH reminded me that the day I checked out of the hospital, my doc said the biggest thing she sees is women not realizing how tired they will be. Sounds like she was right

Re: SOOOOOO Tired!

I'm with you!! I had my TAH the same day as you and was flying along for the first two weeks then collapsed with a bump a week ago and feel like I've been going down hill ever since. Spent the entire day in bed today!! Hope you feel better soon.
