Im Home

Hey everyone. Well I made it home yesterday about 11am. Everything went well. I had a lavh. I had horrible gas but its getting better since getting up and walking. I had to wear a cattheter home since i also had my bladder tacked up. I get it out tuesday cant wait. well getting tired . Talk to you all later.

Welcome home The ladies are SO right-walking a plenty of fluids-I make sure to have 2 glasses cranberry juice each day too-helps prevent bladder infections. You might want to try that having a catheter in.

glad you made it home well. I came home last Saturday after TAH on last Tuesday. Take it easy!! let others do for you; be pampered - my DH pampers me tremendously - he's so good to me.

i'm having mine june 7...scared stiff. will also have bladder susp. + tear repair. said i'll need to buy 2 inflatable donuts, as sitting will be unbearable. how can you sleep with catheter? did you buy the belly band or abnostain? it's so expensive! wish i could find a good used source.

thanks everyone for the well wishes i went yesterday back to doc. Got catheter out It was hard sleeping with it but your so tired you cant help but sleep. Im having hot flashes though doc says this is unusual since he left ovaries but when i go back in 2 weeks if im still having them he will give me estrogen thanks again for all the support
