spotting at 12 weeks?

I am 12 weeks post op and this is the holiday weekend. I have been doing great then the last two days I am noticing red, brownish and pink blood when I wipe myself. I know about mini periods and have not had any, plus my doctor both stitched the cervix closed cauderized it, telling me I would not have them.
There is some tissue, small amount that ends up at the bottom of the toilet. I am concerned but not so much to bother the doctor over the holiday. Has anyone had this? I am thinking of calling her on Tuesday to share and see. Thanks

I didn't keep my cervix and I didn't have any bleeding so I don't have an answer for you. I hope you've been able to see your doctor and found out what caused the spotting. Mini periods can happen to a small percentage of women who keep their ovaries and cervix even when the cervix is cauterized. Let us know what you found out!

I talked to the doctor and they said to watch it-- as from me describing the spotting, they felt it probably was old endo tissue working its way out. I spotted for 3 days. Now if I end up spotting in a month I will call her back and get in to see her. She said she cauderized the cervix so I would not have mini periods. They also said if this was 2 years down the road it would be different but being I am still healing, they were not as concerned.
I will watch it--I didn't go through this all to still bleed!
