one more question

I am having TAH due to 20cm. fibroid plus other smaller ones. They are growing but so far I haven't had a lot of other problems besides heavy periods and cramps. These questions are for other fibroid sufferers:
Did you feel sluggish and bloated all the time?
Was your PMS worse?
Did you get tired a lot more easily?

I just have a general lack of energy and enthusiasm. I am looking forward to getting my life back and it is worth the wait. Thank you all one more time.

sluggish and tired

Yes, I'm feeling very tired and sluggish,I come home from work feeling like I've been run over by a truck sometimes. My wonderful DH helps me alot when I get home. And my pms is worse now than before also. Hope your feeling better.

one more question

I have the same thing and yes I stay tired and worn out. My normal personality is full of energy and never still. Lately I come home from work and drop! It is all I can do to cook supper and get the laundry done. I personally am looking forward to having my surgery and hopefully getting back to my old self. I was suppose to go to Disney today with some friends visiting me. I awoke so tired I stayed home.

one more question

All of your symptoms could be related to fibroids. You could be low on iron due to the heavy bleeding caused by fibroids. I think pain and cramping tend to be tiring. Large fibroids can impinge on other organs and cause constipation. Perhaps that's why you feel bloated.

I had bad PMS before the hyst but not after, even though I kept my ovaries. For that reason, I think it's possible for some women with problematic uteruses to have PMS aggravate.

Best wishes!
