Pre-Op with my OB/GYN

Hey everyone, I had my pre-op with my GYN today. He has Dx me with Menometrorrhogia but I also have severe cramps with it too. I have adopted a heating pad as my best friend. Lol My surgery is scheduled for July 11th. I'm having a DvH. He has also give me a full page of Post-Op restrictions/instructions.(which isn't bad at all) So far there has been NO mention of a bowel prep. But I will find out on the 6th when I go to the hospital for pre-op with them. Hopefully I won't have to do that. I know It's normal to be nervous before surgery, but you would think a person that has had 7 other surgeries in their lifetime wouldn't be nervous. As a matter of fact I had my Gallbladder removed in January this year. Well, anyway I just needed to vent I guess. Thankyou all for listening. I pray that everyone has a safe surgery and a speedy recovery.

Re: Pre-Op with my OB/GYN

I don't think it matters how many surgeries one has. I suspect every surgery brings its own set of nerves and concerns. Hoping for an easy surgery for you.
