Clots at nine weeks normal?

Had an issue at work today and want to know if it is normal. I was in a meeting after school and suddenly knew that I was bleeding. I rushed to the bathroom and passed two big clots and several small ones. Luckily I had some mini pads so it soaked up some of the blood. It's stopped but I'm having some pain and a little cramping. I put in a call to the triage nurse but the actual office is closed for the night. Should I be worried?

That doesn't sound typical for 9 weeks. As (((Ms Ivy))) suggests, if you don't hear from the triage nurse, you should go to the ER. Please keep us posted.

Thanks for your concern. I ended up hearing from the triage nurse. She told me that this could happen at nine weeks but to call if I start bleeding again and she will get me in to see the dr right away. Her advice for the weekend is to rest, stay off my feet, and to take 800 mg of motrin 3x's day to reduce the swelling.
