Lifted to much and am hurting!!!

I've been trying really hard not to lift heavy things, but it's so hard. Yesterday at Costco I picked up a 2 pack of milk gallons and OUCH!!! I feel like I've knocked myself back two weeks. I am really sore and am having pains that I havn't felt for a while.

Has anyone ever done this. I feel so dumb I know better.

Lifted to much and am hurting!!!

I had to go to Walmart this morning and I had to pick up a huge pack of water bottles. I needed them today. Had to get them to the car too. They are still sitting in my car.

I am not hurting yet but I have having a few pains.

I don't shop at Walmart or Costco, but isn't there usually an employee available (you'll have to ask customer service or hunt around a bit) who can lift and carry for you?

(((Ladies)))

You are trying to do too much too soon. The initial recoery period is 6-8 weeks. You should not be doing any lifting until your doctor clears you too. You greatly increase your risk of serious complications by doing too much, too soon. We care about you and want youto have a complete and uncomplicated recovery.

Please read the post-op list of things Allowed? Not Allowed?.
