dVH/RALH Good news re: cancer today. 6 days of diarrhea not so good

Spoke to the surgeon by phone this evening (he’s 2 ½ hours from home) to get my pathology/biopsy results after my extensive hysterectomy and the news is good.
The cancer was confined to the uterus has not spread to any other areas. Ovaries, tubes, cervix and pelvic lymph nodes are all clear so no further treatment is needed, just the 10 years of follow ups. It’s such a relief. Now I can just concentrate on healing, spending time with the kids and grandkids and getting back to work when given the OK.
Been having frequent loose bowel movementsfor 6 days which has been very draining. Spoke to my family doctor this morning and she suggested taking Imodium to see if that helps and it has. Been using heat packs frequently for the swelly belly
