Had My Pre-Op Appt Yesterday 7/29

Found out they are still planning a TVH also removing the tubes and ovaries as we planned. But could have to go to LAVH if they cannot reach the ovaries.

I am getting nervous. It surprises me a little. I really did not think I would. It was my decision to finally go ahead with this. I feel pretty good right now. I think if I felt awful, I would feel better. NOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?

I will probably be in the hospital one day. Unless complications. I intend to ask for a private room. I would prefer to be by myself so I can recouperate in peace.

My surgery is Aug. 6th, too!

I know what you mean about being in less pain and wondering if surgery is the right thing after all. In another thread a hystersister asked "why don't we accept the painless times as a gift from our bodies before surgery instead of letting it freak us out with doubt?" Yeah...why don't we If you figure it out, let me know, too!

I'm going in for my pre-op this afternoon with my DH.
