Hysterectomy for Endo

I had my pre-op today, too. DaVinci surgery scheduled for 1/17. It cannot get here soon enough. I have had endo for 27 years. Should have had this surgery before now. Am so ready to be rid of the pain! I have to do the bowel prep -- but I don't care. It's a small price to pay to be done with this.

Thanks for asking. Yes, I have an endo specialist doing the surgery ... and am having my ovaries removed, too. The removal of the uterus alone would not solve the problem, according to my doctor. Am very hopeful that this will resolve the pain issue.
