Did anyone get these fibroid symptoms

Leg numbness. Leg swelling, tingling, heaviness, pain in legs and si joint area. These symptoms would flare up if I tried to exercise.

I have spent one year on chiropractor and Physio and it didn't relieve these symptoms because I'm certain they are related to fibroids and not my back.

Did other people get these symptoms? We're they relived from surgery?

Prior to my hysterectomy I would get the most horrible pain in upper thigh groin area. I believe that either a nerve was pinched or something was cutting the blood supply it was a terrible spasam. That was unbearable I'd get nauseated and would sweat .Dr couldn't explain why I felt this way. After my surgery it never came back. I had a TAH kept both ovaries. I have never felt better since my surgery I had a fibroid the size of a football

I have leg pain too. From what I have read, pelvic masses can press on nerves and blood vessels, which causes pain. I have a 9 cm fibroid, and I get a lot of pain in my hips and the backs of my thighs, sometimes shooting all the way down to my knees.

Thanks for posting. I really appreciate it. I can't know for sure but I'm having a lot of trouble with my thighs. Kind if semi- disabled now. I hope it fixes after surgery. With people posting it is giving me some hope that it will.

I am having the same! Sharp twinges of pain that shoots down my legs and a deep burning sensation when I'm on my feet or try to lift anything. A numb feeling just above my tailbone/ low back. My legs feel so heavy at times like I have to really focus on lifting them to walk. I still have 2 mints to go before my surgery...not sure if I'm going to make it that long. It is a horrible feeling. I know exactly how you feel!

I don't get swelling or numbness but I have had pain up around my right groin, hip and lower back for many months. Hoping it will disappear with my fibroid.

THANK YOU! Finally! Have had my legs giving me trouble last couple years, unable to keep up on uphill walks, stairs, and thighs burn so bad if I try to bike up the teeniest hill. Step class takes more effort-feels like leg wants to give out. No anema, heart valves not giving out yet.No explaination. Last year started LoLoestrin for bleeding almost EVERY DAY for 3 months from fibroid. 3 months later right leg feels numb and tingling,started after long car trip, worse if excercise, especially flexing hip or squatting, sitting. FULL neuro workup-bloodwork, 4 MRIs, EMG negatvie; Ortho did bone scan and CT boney pelvis, referred to chirpractor-massage and manipulation, helped for about a week. OB check up due end of March, but NOW I am noticing varicose veins on my low right abdomen and, weirdly, my Right toe turns blue in the hot shower! UGH! Now seeing vascular doc monday, but I am womdering if I need hysterectomy-but EVERY other doc I specifically asked if could be fibroid causing symtoms gave me strange look and said it would have to be huge...the chirop said straight out"you dont need a hysterectomy"......Thanks for letting me vent...so glad I found this forum.
