Spotting & alternative to HRT?

I'm 4 weeks post op and have not had any bleeding or spotting until this morning. I have a little bit of spotting and am wondering if this is normal. I have been feeling pretty good so maybe I am doing too much. I just went to the docs this week because my incision was infected. I'm just worried that something else may be starting. I hate calling the doctor again. Also because I had endometrial cancer I can't go on any HRT. She suggested prozac but I really don't want to take that. My main problems right now are insomnia and hot flashes/night sweats and crying episodes. My question is did anyone else have a TAH and not take HRT or the like and survive??? Thanks

I would get in touch with the dr if you are just starting to bleed. It may be unhealed tissue or something else going on.

There are ladies who do not take hrt or cannot for various medical reasons and some do just fine.

You might want to check and visit the No-Hormone Desert Oasis forum and post or just read some of the posts there and see if you can get some help on what might work out for you.
