Hyst seems more real!

Now that my surgery is scheduled (not until June though!) it is all seeming more real. I've gone through every emotion there is in the last two weeks and last week had such awful pain that my body said "I'm going to drop you right here if you don't go home and lie down". So I heeded the warning and took 1/2 of Thurs off and all of Friday. I had no energy and hurt so badly! This week is much better though I'm still just plain worn out!

My sister who lives in VA is making plans on coming out for the first 1 1/2 weeks. One of her co-workers had a TAH two weeks ago and is still in immense pain. Of course my sis doesn't want me to be alone for a minute for at least 3 weeks. I think I will be okay and certainly don't want to be coddled though it is nice to know others can be there if I need them to be!

I just ordered my Hyster Sister book and cover-up! Can't wait to get them! I've been looking at pillows for my "swelly-belly to be" and want something with definate character! I never thought I would be "excited" about surgery though after last week, it sure sounds good! I'm making plans and gathering items, getting closets cleaned and cobwebs wiped, windows washed... I'm sure this will all need to be done again before that time though it gives me extra motivation to get these unsavory jobs accomplished!

There's light around the bend! If I had the energy I'd be jumping up and down!

Love and hugs to you all!
Deb
