jacuzzi, whirlpools can we use them?

That's odd. I was told by the doctor and it's on my instructions for home to take 2 warm/hot baths a day to help with the pain and recovery. I just have an old fashioned bath no bubbles. I can see where a jacuzzi especially public could cause risk of infection considering all the yeast infectons I have had from them over the years. It sure sounds good though.

Christ1ne, I can't believe in how different doctors vary in there opinion, We both had a TAH for the same reason and we are the same age, so I would expect them both to give roughly the same answer to the same question. I am so please you have been cleared so you can enjoy your new jacuzzi, please can you let me know what it was like after, I think that I might phone my DR and tell her that the DR in NY said it was OK, lol

jacuzzi, whirlpools can we use them?

I ask about baths at my 2 week check-up and my Dr. said it would do me good to get in and soak! (maybe I didn't smell so good???? LOL) No really I had taken showers everyday but I am not really a shower person....... I haven't ask about the Jacuzi but I haven't had access to one anyway....I will ask on the 8th as I am planning a beach trip on the 12th...... I had a LAVH though so no large outter incissions to deal with anyway.
